City and Wildlife Park Tour
Basic Itinerary
9.00am pick up from hotel at KK town area. It takes 35 minutes drive to Lok Kawi Wildlife park from Kota Kinabalu.
The park is managed and operated by Sabah Wildlife Department under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment. While most of the visitors viewed it as a zoo, it is actually a small wildlife rehabilitation centre. The 280 acres of land hosted nearly 100 species of plants, birds and wild animals. The botanical garden which is located near the end of the zoo is managed by Sabah Forestry Department.
Depart from zoo 11:30am-12:30pm proceed for lunch.
After lunch, explore the lush the tropical hills and the South China Sea , it is the perfect base for easy day trips for an enjoyable holiday. Catch a bird's eye view of the city from Signal Hill. Visit the unique round building which has a rotating restaurant in the middle, Yayasan Sabah building now known as The Tun Mustapha Building. A brief stop at the museum and the other places of interst to visit such as the KK Bird Sanctuary, State Museum and discover the Marine Aquarium which is situated inside the nearby the local Universiti.
After tour, transfer back to hotel or airport.
