Sabah sits at the tip of Borneo. Borneo is the third largest island and is located near the equator. It is surrounded by the South China Sea to the west and the Sulu and Celebes Sea to the East. Sabah is located at North of Borneo and is under the ruling constitution of Malaysia. It is the 12th state of Malaysia and is well known for it's existing world class heritage rainforests and diving spots. It is also home to many unique and rare species of plants. It is also a natural habitat for exotic animals like the probocis monkeys, orang utans and many more endangered wildlife. To this date alone, there are more species yet to be named.
Kota Kinabalu is the capital city of Sabah. Most domestics and international flights do stop at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). Kota Kinabalu is the hub for all domestic travels within North Borneo. There are plenty of transport method ranging from air-flights, bus coaches, taxies and mini buses. It's people are mainly consisted of local ethics such as Kadazans, Dusuns, Muruts and Bajaus. While there are many more ethic traditional races here, it is best that if you could actually come here to meet them yourselves. The people of Sabah are generally know for their warm hospitality and friendliness.
