Padas River Rafting
Padas River Rafting is a tough and challenging tour and will require participants to be fit.
You do not neccessary need any experience to do this tour. Swimmers or non-swimmers alike are welcome to join the fun. An experience guide will be along to guide you and provide you full supervisions during the whole trip down Padas River.
The tour starts with the tour guide picking you up from hotels or lodges situated in Kota Kinabalu city. Pick up from Rasa Ria, Nexus Karambunai or areas outside the city will incur additional transfer charges. Upon arrival, you will be given a short briefing and equiping neccessary equipment before beginning the tour. Lunch will be served after the completing the rafting.
Suggested items to bring along: Extra clothings, towels, sandals, personal toiletries, sun blick, waterproof camera & raincoats.
*Participants must be fit, jewellery and contact lenses are not advisable.
Itinerary
0715hrs. Pick up from hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to Tenom by road. Upon arrival at Tenom proceed to village near Pangie, get changed and ready for fun filled thrilled ride by using only plank wood and several ball bearings up to Pangi for about 1 hour on railway track. Your luggage will be stored at the van and will be transferred to Beaufort Town .
11.30hrs. Light refreshment will be served. Then, transfer to the starting point. A short briefing on safety precautions and rafting techniques by your guide. Commence rafting down the Padas River to up to 30 km.
1300hrs. A quick stop at Rayoh Station before continuing.
1730hrs. Ending Point will be at Halogilat then speedboat ride back to Beaufort before transfer back to Hotel by Land
Arrival at Rayoh Station (ending point) lunch will be served at the ending point. Depart for Beaufort by rail car/train, transfer back to your hotel.

NOTES:
RIVER GRADE 3 to 4. Child below 12 years old are strictly not allowed to participate. Tour is subject to river and weather conditions. If weather and river conditions do not permit, this tour may be substitute to another tour.
